When using a mobile device, you must tap somewhere on the media row first before you can tap a media item within that row and have it open the detail (intermediate) view

On a mobile device, pressing a media row causes left and/or right arrows to appear for quickly scrolling to the next or previous section of media items. However, it seems like this behavior is required first before tapping on a media item will actually open the media item's detail view. Effectively this means you have to first press anywhere on the media row, ensure the left and/or right arrows appear, and then press the media item within that row that you wish to open. If the arrows are not visible, then attempting to press a media item will make the arrows visible but not open the media item's detail view.

The expected behavior is that any time you press and lift up on a media item (without dragging the item) that you will be taken to the media item's detail view.
